Note from Fern: This is a lesson plan that my Spirit Team* put together for me and I thought I’d share it for any others who might find it useful.
The Backstory is that… I’ve been led on an incredibly journey, full of clear messages and synchronicities, with my Spirit Team and the events of my life mirror the point in my soul’s learning plan. That is… I am following my destiny. (Queue super dramatic music).
So… a super quick summary… I had an NDE in 2020 when I gave birth to my daughter. That opened the floodgates for a spiritual awakening. …and here we are in 2026. I’ve been finishing off my karmic work, big time. My Spirit Team is helping me see the ginormous mirror in front of me, forcing an understanding of how I create my reality, and that to change my reality, I need to transmute all of my shadows into light. In this life, the karmic pattern that I am shedding is SHAME. I know this because… long story… two years ago, in meditation, I received the inspiration to research my maternal great-grandmother (who forced her transition two weeks before I was born, on the day after Mount St. Helens erupted). This led me to volunteering for a hospice organization to provide social support for those at the end of life, which led me to visiting this one lady at this one nursing home (she had a profound effect on me), which led me to meeting a particular Intuitive. He told me several interesting things under trance. One was that he “recognized me from Lemuria.” Apparently, I was a Wisdom Keeper. Another One was that I was “from Venus.”… whatever that means. …Fast forward to about one month ago, when my guides inspired me to visit a particular used book store, where I found a copy of a particular book, that I just finished reading last night.
The book was “Pleiadean Perspectives on Human Evolution” and is a channeled message from Ra. He describes the big picture spiritual evolutionary patterns of humanity, starting with Venus… my origin point in this Solar Ring.
After my ‘awakening’ in 2020, I had a period more recently where I wondered if I was a starseed and became very consumed with that idea.
But if I’m from Venus and have been reincarnating over and over in this Solar Ring (long story)…. from Venmus to Mars… then to Maldek… and then to Earth…. I’ve been doing THIS for a very.long.time. No wonder I am exhausted. My life is okey-dokey but I’m just exhausted by every thing (little or big).
Anyway, I digress… So I’m not a Starseed. I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s not-a-Starseed, that’s what I am.
Blah, blah, blah… so, I see the Intuitive(s) somewhat regularly. (I forgot to mention that there’s a second Intuitive.). And I recently saw the first Intuitive, who said that my great-grandmother, when she died, her soul chose to go to Venus to repair some frequencies in the astral realm. Again Venus.
….AAAAANNNNDDDD….. that leads me to thinking about how the Lemurian Seven Sacred Flames compare to the Bailey Seven Sacred Rays, to the Planets in our Solar Ring, to the Karmic Patterns I discovered from the Pleiadians, to understanding that the Karmic Pattern I need to transmute in this lifetime is from Shame to Joy and Gratitude, which happens to be today’s Flame, the Flame of Freedom and Transmutation, facilitated by Cohan Master Saint Germaine…
WHEW@!!@! I definitely owe you a full detail about all of that. But so, here we are.
This was my homework for today, Oak 18th.
Lesson: To transmute the karmic pattern of shame as the primary learning objective in Earth School, as I come to the end of my human lifetimes in this dimension.
It is Saturday, the day of the 7th Flame of Transmutation, in my 7th & 8th Houses in Virgo. My homework is to understand how relationships are a major classroom for soul growth in this embodiment, and that I have selected the ‘deepest transformation’ track of this journey.
So, buckle up…. here’s the assignment!

Saturn in Virgo: from Shame to Joy & Gratitude
The Soul’s Journey
Relationships as the Classroom. Transformation as the Graduation.
Every soul enters this life carrying lessons it has chosen to master. Some souls come to learn courage. Others come to learn compassion.
The soul marked by Saturn in Virgo—whether expressed through the Seventh House of relationships or the Eighth House of transformation—is invited to master something deceptively simple yet profoundly difficult:
To discover that worthiness has never needed to be earned.
Saturn is often misunderstood as the planet of hardship. In truth, Saturn is the great Architect. It builds a soul that can hold wisdom, integrity, and authentic power.
Virgo contributes discernment, humility, service, and refinement.
Together they ask one lifelong question:
“Can you love yourself enough to stop trying to become worthy?”
Part I
The Seventh House: Relationships Are the Soul’s Classroom
Every meaningful relationship becomes a mirror.
Partners…
Friends…
Family…
Even difficult people…
Each reflects something waiting to be healed.
The Seventh House is less interested in finding “the right person” than becoming the person who can meet another with authenticity, compassion, and healthy boundaries.
Relationships reveal:
- where we over-give,
- where we withhold,
- where we seek approval,
- where we fear rejection,
- where we hide our authentic selves.
Saturn ensures these lessons cannot be bypassed.
The same themes often repeat until they are understood—not as punishment, but as opportunities to grow in wisdom.
Virgo adds another layer.
Instead of simply fearing rejection, Virgo often asks:
“If I improve myself enough…
If I become useful enough…
If I become perfect enough…
Then perhaps I will finally deserve love.”
Yet love has never been the reward for perfection.
Love flourishes where authenticity is welcomed.
Part II
The Eighth House: Transformation Is the Soul’s Initiation
If the Seventh House holds up the mirror…
The Eighth House asks us to step through it.
This is the realm of:
- vulnerability,
- surrender,
- intimacy,
- shadow work,
- grief,
- rebirth,
- trust.
Everything hidden beneath the surface eventually asks to be acknowledged.
Saturn patiently reveals every place where fear has been protecting an old wound.
Virgo wants to understand it.
Saturn wants us to embody what we learn.
This becomes less about gaining knowledge and more about becoming transformed.
The invitation becomes:
Can I remain open when my instinct is to close?
Can I trust when fear says to control?
Can I soften where shame taught me to harden?
Transformation rarely arrives through dramatic moments alone.
It is often born through thousands of quiet choices.
Part III
The Hidden Karmic Pattern: Shame
Beneath perfectionism…
Beneath people-pleasing…
Beneath overthinking…
Beneath control…
There often lives a quieter voice.
It whispers:
“I am not enough.”
“I must earn love.”
“I have to prove my value.”
“If people really knew me…
they wouldn’t stay.”
Shame creates separation.
It separates us:
from ourselves,
from others,
from joy,
from God,
from our own hearts.
It convinces us that love must be earned rather than received.
Yet shame survives only in darkness.
The moment it is met with compassion…
its power begins to dissolve.
Part IV
Saturn’s Real Lesson
Saturn never asks us to become perfect.
Saturn asks us to become authentic.
Every difficult relationship.
Every disappointment.
Every fear. Every betrayal.
Every delay.
Every season of loneliness.
Each becomes another invitation to ask:
“What is Life trying to teach me?”
Instead of:
“Why is this happening to me?”
The moment the question changes…
the lesson changes.
Part V
The Alchemy
Step One: Awareness
Notice the shame.
Do not fight it.
Simply observe.
Awareness removes unconsciousness.
Step Two: Compassion
Speak to yourself the way you would comfort a beloved child.
Healing begins where criticism ends.
Step Three: Discernment
Virgo’s highest gift is not perfection.
It is wisdom. Learn to distinguish:
- truth from fear,
- discernment from judgment,
- service from self-sacrifice,
- humility from self-rejection.
Step Four: Courageous Love
In relationships…
- Practice honesty.
- Practice boundaries.
- Practice receiving.
- Practice allowing yourself to be seen.
Authenticity becomes more important than approval.
Step Five: Surrender
The Eighth House teaches that control is often fear wearing armor.
Release what cannot be controlled.
Trust grows one choice at a time.
Step Six: Gratitude
Gratitude shifts attention from what is missing to what is already present.
It softens the nervous system.
It opens the heart.
It reminds us that life has always been offering gifts alongside its lessons.
Step Seven: Joy
Joy is not something we manufacture.
Joy is what remains after shame no longer occupies the heart.
Joy is your natural state.
Not because life became easy.
But because you finally stopped believing you had to earn your place within it.
The Integration
The Seventh House teaches us to love through relationship.
The Eighth House teaches us to love through transformation.
Together they reveal a profound truth:
Every relationship is an invitation to become more fully yourself, and every transformation is an invitation to love more deeply.
The deepest karmic pattern may begin with shame, but it does not end there.
When Saturn’s lessons are embraced with Virgo’s humility and discernment, shame is gradually transformed into wisdom, wisdom into compassion, compassion into gratitude, and gratitude into joy.
The soul discovers what it has been seeking all along:
Nothing essential was ever missing.
You were never becoming worthy of love.
You were remembering that you already are.
